FamilyTime – Dashboard Permissions for Android

GPS location

As you download the app, the FamilyTime Dashboard will ask you to access the GPS location on Android devices.

Accessing parents’ phone locations helps to facilitate parents in adding places to the Geo-fenced Places list. The permission lets the app sync the Google Maps with the app’s interface, making it easier for the parents to search for the exact places on the map.

Setting up the exact geofence places enables parents to get alerts from the FamilyTime Jr. app on the child’s device.

Accessing a Few Features on Parent’s Device

FamilyTime Dashboard Parent App uses a few features on the parent’s device to increase the app’s efficiency and sync the data from the child’s device to the app.

Device’s Memory

FamilyTime Dashboard Parent App is stored on the device and will consume a little space to sync and save data. Though most of the files are uploaded on the cloud, the app takes up some space on the device’s internal memory to save cache files. However, it does not consume any larger space or interfere with other data stored on the drive.

Network Connection- Full Access

App access data from our online servers. The app requires full access to receive data from the Internet and view the network connections.

Prevent Phone from Sleeping

The app keeps the device’s screen from turning off or sleeping when the app is in action. It ensures the smooth syncing of data and the implementation of new rules.
