Will the FamilyTime app drain the battery of the phone on which it sits?
Overall, battery usage of the FamilyTime app is very low compared to other apps running on an average mobile device. We’ve programmed the app to process and upload data from the child’s device every 20 minutes. Since there are no live data updates, it consumes less battery than expected.

Similarly, on a child’s device, the app collects data after specific intervals that do not burden the device’s battery. Every 5 minutes, the app checks for any new data and uploads it to the server every 20 minutes. It normally takes an hour to complete three data collection and upload cycles.
However, FamilyTime is programmed to make swift moves and updates for emergency notifications and alerts on both parent and child’s devices.
