How to Setup/Use Contacts Watchlist on Android Devices

Using Contact Watchlist feature, parents can define certain contact numbers from their children’s Android devices and then get alerts each time there is any contact between their children and that contact. Follow these very easy instructions to setup and use Contact Watchlist feature on child’s Android smartphone or tablet:

Step - 1

Log into your FamilyTime web dashboard or open your FamilyTime - Dashboard app.

Step - 2

Select the child profile you want to setup Contact Watchlist and tap Settings.

Step - 3

Now tap Contact Watchlist from the menu under the section Family Care.

Step - 4

To add contracts to this list, tap on the “plus” sign on the lower-right corner of the screen.

Step - 5

Select the contact(s) from the contact list mirrored from your child’s phone to add to the Contact Watchlist. Tap Add to Watchlist button when you’re done. Make sure the Disable Watchlist option on the top-right corner of the screen is toggled on.

Step - 6

Now tap on the “back” arrow on the top-left corner of the screen to navigate back to the Settings menu.

Bonus tips:
  • And you’re all set! The desired contacts have been added up to the Watchlist and you will receive an alert each time there is any contact between your child and the contacts added in the list.

Step - 7

Tap Sync Settings from the Settings menu under the Sync section. Otherwise the feature may take longer to work on your child’s device.

Step - 8

Your settings have been synced successfully!

  • Talk to your kids why you feel that way about those contacts and why they should refrain from being in contact with them.
  • As a safety measure, add those contacts to the Contact Watchlist so you could know instantly if there is any contact between them.
